Indian Ranch has New Owner and Management

WEBSTER, Mass., March 31 – After almost 50 years of ownership and operation, the Sadowsky family announces they have sold Indian Ranch Campgrounds, located off Route 16 in Webster, Ma. The new owner of the property is Webster Ventures LLC, a property investment firm also located in Webster. “My family has had a residence on the lake since 1982, so I was familiar with Indian Ranch and felt it was an ideal piece of property given its location and beach access to the finest lake in Massachusetts” says Webster Ventures president Chris Robert.

In a related announcement, Indian Ranch Recreation, Inc., headed by Mr. Robert’s son, Tom Robert, says it will lease the premises and operate the same core businesses that have traditionally been associated with the property. These businesses include seasonal camping, banquets, outings and weddings. In addition, Mr. Robert says he will continue offering outdoor entertainment, primarily Country & Western acts on Sunday afternoon that have given international recognition to Indian Ranch.

Indian Ranch has been a staple of the Webster community for many years and I am pleased to be able to continue its operation”, says Tom Robert. “There is a lot of history surrounding Lake Chargoggagoggmanchaugagoggchaubunagungamaugg and Indian Ranch has contributed by hosting a legacy of well-known performers, establishing itself as the ‘Country Music Capital of the North’”.
