Buddy Jewell is a veteran country music artist who has finally made the big time. He has recorded more than 4,000 “demo” tapes many of which went on to become hit singles for other established artists.
In 2002, Jewell won the 1st Nashville Star cable TV talent search show, securing a record deal with Columbia, with Clint Black producing the first album. "Help Pour Out the Rain (Lacey's Song)" earned substantial airplay in 2003.
